CZ presents the CZ TS 3 ORANGE
A technological leap forward for the Tactical Sports platform designed to compete in modern Optics divisions
Ceska zbrojovka (CZ) presents the CZ TS 3 ORANGE, a new generation of sport pistols in the Tactical Sports series specifically developed for competing in the IPSC Optics and USPSA Limited Optics divisions. Building on the proven CZ TS 2 ORANGE model, this new platform is optimized for red dot optics, rapid handling, and maximum consistency in dynamic shooting.
The CZ TS 3 ORANGE was designed from the outset to be fully Optics-Ready. Red dot sights are mounted directly on the slide, without the need for mounting plates, and the interface is compatible with the most common footprints (RMR, RMSc, DeltaPoint Pro, and Holosun-K). Direct mounting ensures a low optic mounting height, secure attachment, and preservation of the pistol’s optimal center of gravity.
Its redesigned slide with aggressive cocking serrations and optimized relief cutouts contributes to better balance and faster handling. The slide rides on full-length frame rails and is hand-fitted to achieve tight tolerances. This solution, together with extremely precise manufacturing, ensures smooth operation of the mechanism and high accuracy during rapid firing.
A key design element is the heavy, cold hammer forged bull barrel with an improved muzzle crown, which combines high durability with maximum accuracy. The new frame, machined from a single solid piece of steel, allows for deeper undercuts on the beavertail and trigger guard, promoting a higher grip and better control of recoil when firing.
Ergonomics are further enhanced by G10 composite grips with a distinctive texture, a redesigned thumb rest with a higher back plate profile to eliminate thumb contact with the slide, and a manual safety with the same 25° angle as the thumb rest for more natural, intuitive operation. A single-action trigger with a short, clean travel and approximately 600 g of pull, together with an improved, adjustable magazine release button, allow for quick and consistent reloading and maximum control over the pistol at competition speeds.
The CZ TS 3 ORANGE is available as a 9×19 mm and comes with a lifetime warranty on the barrel. It was developed in close cooperation with elite shooters on the CZ Shooting Team and is the choice of ten-time IPSC World Champion Eric Grauffel.
